Welcome to my
slice o' the web! My name is Cary Woodham, and I attend The University
of Texas at Austin. One of the classes that I am currently enrolled in
is Scarett Bowen's English 309 class entitled: Writings from the New Generation.
Basically what we do in this class is read articles from young authors
and write papers about Generation X. This web page is actually an assignment
for that class. My topic is video games and Generation X. On this page
you can find a brief history of video games and how both video games and
Generation X have grown up together. There is also a page on the problems
associated with video games and how Generation X must face these problems.
There is also a page of links, where you can visit pages dedicated to famous
video game programmers and creators, game company pages, gaming magazine
sites, as well as a few surprises. After you read through all those, you
can go to my biography page and read a little bit on why I chose this topic
as well as respond to me about this page. The pages are as follows:
Press
Start: A brief history of video games and how they relate to Generation
X.
Game
Over: Problems assoiciated with video games and how Generation X is affected.
Welcome
to Warp Zone: A page of related links.
